Additionally, the Leica DM2000-3000 features a sophisticated focusing mechanism – 2-gear or optionally 3-gear focusing, with torque adjustment and adjustable stage height stop. The Leica DM2500 also offers powerful 100 W illumination and is well-suited for pathology and biomedical research requiring specialized contrast methods such as Differential Interference Contrast (DIC).
