XperRAM C Series - Compact Micro-Raman System by Nanobase Inc.

The XperRAM C Series from Nanobase Inc. stands out as one of the most compact and budget-friendly micro Raman systems available. Despite its size, the XperRAM C Series delivers high-end performance. Equipped with the same laser scanning module as the XperRF or XperRAM S Series, the XperRAM C Series offers the widest scanning experience on the market with a scanning area of 200 µm x 200 µm when using a 40X objective. The system achieves over 90% efficiency when using a 532 nm laser, thanks to the customized detector and spectrometer. Over 90% peak efficiency.

The XperRAM C spectrometer features a volume phase holographic (VPH) grating that is interchangeable and rotatable to enable various and more sophisticated experiments. Unlike most Raman manufacturers, Nanobase has integrated a transmission grating into the Raman spectrometer to boost the efficiency to over 90%.

The integrated XPE35 spectrometer is designed for high efficiency in conjunction with an OEM detector from Atik Cameras. The XperRAM C Series is optimized for laser excitation at 532 nm. Other options are laser lines at 405 nm and 633 nm.

The system is designed with a high-speed laser scanner. The use of a single galvo mirror maximizes efficiency in a large scan area of 200 µm x 200 µm (using a 40x objective), allowing you to see a larger image of your Raman data. This setup results in a high positioning accuracy of 20 nm. There is no need for sample movement, so large and heavy samples can be mapped.

The XperRAM C Series is an easy-to-maintain and cost-effective confocal Raman instrument featuring a variable slit and CCD binning for pinhole-like spectral resolution. This results in excellent performance. A galvo mirror system and a 6MP camera in the scanning module enable large area scanning and bright field imaging.
