LS620: Enhanced Fluorescence Imaging with Blue, Green, and Red Channels

Experience the power of LS620, a digital microscope designed to deliver high-resolution fluorescence images comparable to traditional, high-cost microscopes. This versatile tool employs LED light sources, Semrock filters, advanced optical engineering, and CMOS sensors to achieve near diffraction-limited resolution. Powered solely through its USB connection, the LS620 effortlessly captures photos, time-lapse series, and live videos directly to your computer. Its compact size allows operation in challenging environments, such as inside incubators, biological safety cabinets, and environmental workstations.

Features and Advantages

BPAE cells stained to show nuclei (blue), alpha-tubulin (green), and F-actin (red) on an LS 620; LifeTech FluoCells slide #2; 40x Olympus objective.

  • Full functionality for visualizing cells from slides, microplates, flasks, or dishes
  • Versatile and compact design enables usage within cell culture incubators, tissue culture hoods, and environmental workstations
  • Robust software facilitates time-lapse studies over various durations
  • Modern LED and optical design reduce costs and eliminate complex laser-driven and arc lamp systems
  • USB-powered for quick setup and ease of use
  • Custom optimized filter set detects blue, green, and red fluorophores, including BFP, DAPI, FITC, Fluo-4, GFP, and mCherry
  • Advanced optics provide excellent resolution in ambient lighting conditions
  • Objective compatibility with standard lenses allows the use of your own objectives
  • Optional Phase Contrast Accessory enhances visualization of unstained samples

LS620: Unmatched Power at an Unbeatable Price

The LS620 stands out as the most powerful digital microscope available in its price range. Building on the success of its predecessor, the LS600, it utilizes a Semrock Brightline® Pinkel filter set optimized for 405 nm, 488 nm, and 594 nm LED light sources. The 5-filter set includes 3 exciting filters, 1 triple-band emitting filter, and 1 beam-splitting filter. The LS620 boasts the same larger CMOS sensor as the LS600, surpassing the sensors used in LS520 and LS420.
