Capturing Low Fluorescence Intensities and Wide Fields of View.

Equipped with a Nikon digital SLR camera in CMOS format in FX format optimized for microscopy, the DS-Qi2 is a 16.25-megapixel monochrome camera of the highest quality with high pixel density, sensitivity, and low noise. The DS-Qi2 is an excellent choice for applications in quantitative fluorescence imaging.

Note: DS-Qi2 is not suitable for clinical diagnostics.

Large-Format CMOS Sensors

Nikon produces CMOS sensors and image processing programs for professional D-SLR cameras that are now optimized for microscopy.

High Sensitivity

Detects even weak fluorescence signals. With 7.3 μm pixels, high quantum efficiency, and very low read noise, the DS-Qi2 can read even weak fluorescence signals.

Excellent Linearity

With a linearity error of ± 1%, the DS-Qi2 enables reliable quantitative analysis of intensities in fluorescence samples, including time-based intensity measurement and ratiometric measurement.

Low Noise

Captures weakly fluorescent signals with extremely low noise.

Time-Lapse Photography

Fluorescent time-lapse imaging through integration with NIS-Elements software. With a wide field of view, high pixel density, and low noise, the DS-Qi2 is ideal for time-resolved image processing applications.
