The MADF 800 offers all the capabilities of the MADF 700 but with enhanced features in both optics and objective configuration. In addition to the 40x dry lens, this version includes a 50x oil immersion objective, allowing seamless switching between the 100x and 50x lenses during analysis—an essential advantage in diagnostics.

The optics of the 800's tube system surpass even the already excellent system found in the MADF 700. Users requiring the highest imaging quality will find their expectations met. Operation remains as intuitive as with the 700 and 750 models. Factory configuration with 4x and 20x objectives extends its use to a wide range of blood and fluid analysis techniques.

Thanks to its large field of view and compatibility with 22mm extra-widefield eyepieces with diopter adjustment, it is ideal for analyzing drying fluid or blood samples without compromising darkfield image quality. Precision controls for focusing and XY stage movement are ergonomically placed and lockable. The infinite ICS optical system supports fatigue-free extended use.

MikroAge's proprietary NLT LED illumination ensures even lighting of the specimen. Designed for continuous operation, the LED lasts over 80,000 hours and is dimmable to match analysis needs. Optical components are ICO plan achromats. Fine filites, basophilic/eosinophilic granules, vacuoles, and inclusions are clearly distinguished, and phenomena like thrombocyte clotting chains, ghosts, or newly identified colored granulocytes (Gerzen cells) are rendered in high detail at all magnifications.

A key innovation is the self-aligning cardioid condenser developed by MikroAge, which eliminates manual centering. Full illumination begins already at 40x magnification. This microscope reaches the physical limits of optical resolution, enabling precise examination of all hematological abnormalities. Its heavy-duty build makes it ideal for stationary lab use.
