The Leitz METALLUX II is a versatile reflected light DIC microscope, ideal for applications such as wafers and silicon melt preparations. It features high-quality components and precise mechanics.

- Reflected Light DIC: Rotatable polarizer with switchable lambda plate for color effects, 4 Wollaston prisms for interference contrast R with objectives NPL 10x, NPL 20x, NPL FLUOTAR 50x, and NPL 100x, analyzer slider
- Tube: Trinocular tube with visual/photo switch 100/0 and 20/80, adjustable 23mm Periplan GF 12x M eyepieces, camera adapter mount with dust cover

- Stand: Gray hammer-tone finish, fully upgradeable for transmitted light
Condition:
- Optics: Minor non-image-relevant scratches, slightly browned polarizer but fully functional. Otherwise very clean.
- Mechanics: Fully serviced, focus drives, tube mechanics, and stage are smooth and precise.
- Cosmetics: Normal signs of use on paint and stage, overall well-maintained.
