The Leitz ORTHOPLAN microscope with a configuration for transmitted light brightfield is a premium instrument, ideal for precise scientific applications. It stands out for its robust design and excellent optical performance.

Features:

  • Stand: Dark gray hammered finish, stable and durable.
  • Trinocular Tube: Switchable light splitting for visual/photo (100/0, 20/80), equipped with a pair of Periplan GW 10x eyepieces (one adjustable).
  • Objective Turret: Interchangeable turret (tube factor 1x) for 5 RMS-thread objectives.

Condition:

  • Optics: Minimal fine scratches in the coating may be present but do not affect image quality. Overall excellent condition.
  • Mechanics: Fully serviced, including focus drives, stage, tube mechanics, and condenser. All moving parts have been overhauled and re-greased.
  • Cosmetics: Good to very good condition with normal signs of use, particularly on the stage and finish.
