The Leitz ORTHOLUX II is a premium phase contrast microscope known for its robust design and versatile equipment. It is ideal for demanding applications in research and education.

  • Trinocular Tube: Newer version with 3-way switching for visual/photo light splitting (100/0, 50/50, 20/80), equipped with Periplan GF 10x eyepieces (one adjustable) and a dust cover for the photo port.
  • Objective Turret: Interchangeable turret (tube factor 1x) for 5 RMS-thread objectives.

  • Illumination: 50W halogen lamp with power supply (Type MTR 27), including power cord.

Condition:

  • Optics: Minimal fine scratches in the coatings may be present but do not affect the image. Overall excellent condition.
  • Mechanics: Fully serviced, including focus drives, stage and tube mechanics, and the condenser. The tube has a new timing belt for preventive maintenance.
  • Cosmetics: Clean and well-maintained with minimal signs of use.
